Our run of Lost Laowais by David East at the Vaults Festival 2020 â€‹ended with a smash yesterday evening. I have loved the Vaults Festival since fellow Gaulier-school-mate took me to a show there 3 years ago when I was oh-so-new to London. It's a much-needed burst of wondrous energy from creatives at every level of their craft in the dull January wintery days; a sort of London's Edinburgh if you wish.

Some of the highlights for me at this year's Vaults Fest has been Lucy Hopkin's Ceremony of Golden Truth - Call me biased, but I'm always thrilled to see a fellow Gaulier-mate in action! - also Legs has been a marvelous, fantastic(al??) show, and last but not least, the increasing number of East Asian stories! Really looking forward to catching Asian Pirate Musical and Lòng Mẹ

In other news, Romola Garai's Amulet will be screening at this year's SUNDANCE!!!!!!! I play a woman in labour, which has very significant foreshadowing in this creepy horror film. Well, I always knew that the experience of howling and swearing when my firstborn was coming to meet me would be an invaluable resource for my acting...
